Team Sysmex is a dedicated group of three staff who are riding the 2012 Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge in support of @Heart, the charity which provides lifelong support to all those living with a childhood heart defect.

As part of Sysmex’s committment to Corporate Social Responsibility they have become a friend of @Heart this year, donating funds to sponsor an edition of Heartline magazine, help set up the Guardian Angels giving programme, fund the @Heart subscription to the Online Media Database, and fund ingredients for dinners for parents of @heart children while they are in hospital with their child. Sysmex sees staff involvement in the Cycle Challenge as a natural progression of the corporate sponsorship, and wishes them all the best for a successful ride on the 24th November.

Noel Paggao and Ryan Whittle are riding in the relay team category, while Natalie Welch will ride the Solo event around lake Taupo. All three have been training hard for the event over the past few months, with an increase in longer rides as the daylight hours improve.
