The pre-analytical phase of the laboratory workflow is subject to multiple types of errors prior to specimens being received in the laboratory. Innovation in health tech can help address common errors such as wrong blood in tube, patient mis-identification errors and inappropriate test ordering.

In this webinar the Sysmex New Zealand team will share the mobile app solutions that have been developed specifically to improve quality during the pre-analytical laboratory phase. We will look at how the digital tech applies to the clinician order entry/lab request process and the patient collection workflow, built on the Eclair platform. The webinar will also touch on the work done to streamline the COVID-19 swab collection workflow.
